Apex Legends Season 13 will bring a brand new legend called Newcastle, who is a defensive character with some pretty strong abilities. This new Legend is also the brother of Bangalore, who has a lot of questions for his brother regarding his disappearance.

Newcastle’s description on the EA Saviors blog reads: “Hero of Harris Valley, Newcastle will need to protect their teammates and secrets to survive the Apex Games.”

You can check out more details about Newcastle, including all of its abilities, in our recent article titled: Who is Newcastle? Abilities and more.

Storm Point Map Changes

The Tropical Apex Legends Storm Point BR map will also undergo some changes in Season 13. After leaks and teasers, the Season 13 reveal showed a battle between the Legends and a massive sea monster in which the legends came out on top.

This sea monster will now be part of the map as a “Slaughtered Beast”. Players will be able to walk inside the corpse of the sea monster, as well as onto it, and the construction around it.

Apex Legends Season 13: Saviors will also bring changes to Ranked Leagues.

Season 12 brought a lot of complaints, as players felt the ranked system had gotten much worse. Luckily, the developers have listened and will be making some changes to the Season 13 competitive space.

Some of these changes include:

  • Level Downgrade
  • Changes to KP and Assist rules
  • New level

control apex legends mad maggie

At the Season 13 press event, the devs said they learned a lot from Control and that it will be back in the second half of the season. There will be changes to the mode and they are also working on a “join in progress” option.

They also confirmed that new LTMs are being worked on, so maybe we’ll see one this season, like the leaked Uplink mode. An Apex Legends developer also teased a Season 0 LTM that would bring back the OG Kings Canyon map, base characters, as well as base weapons with their original stats.

Apex Legends Season 13 Fuse and Mad Maggie Battle Pass Skins

In addition to a new Saviors Battle Pass, Apex Legends Season 13 will also bring new events to the game. Season 12 brought the new Prestige skins through the Anniversary Collection event and a Legacy with the Warriors collection event during the same season, however, it could have been unique.

It’s likely that we’ll only see one collection and one themed event for Season 13, bringing Legacy and a Prestige skin into the latter. This is currently just speculation, so as more information is released, we will update this article accordingly.
