Fortnite Battle Royale v21.20 Adds New Charge SMG: Detailed Full Patch Notes

Ripsaw Week has come to an end in Fortnite, with v21.20 adding a few more features for players instead.

The party doesn’t stop for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: Vibin’ as a brand new update rolls into the picture. This round of updates adds shuffled shrines, the Charged SMG, Port-A-Fort, and more. Those who own the Battle Pass will be treated to brand new Indiana Jones-themed quests.

Here’s everything that made its way into this season of Fortnite thanks to the v21.20 patch.

Indiana Jones’ Battle Pass quests will go live starting at 9 a.m. ET on July 6, 2022. Complete these quests to unlock the Indiana Jones outfit and other items in her set.

But Indy isn’t all that’s come to the island. A new POI – the Temple Shuffled Shrines, has appeared on the island.

Charge SMG

The new Charge SMG has entered the weapon pool, replacing the Combat SMG. The longer the trigger is held down, the more bullets will fire. Players will see a gauge appear on screen to let you know when to release.

The Charge SMG can be found in Chests, Supply Drops, Reality Sprouts, and Sharks.

The Port-A-Fort was not vaulted. Players can throw any of these items to summon an instant fort – no building required. The Port-A-Fort can be found in chests.

Ripsaw Launcher Locations

Although Ripsaw Launcher week has ended, players will still be able to find the weapon as loot from the ground, chests, supply drops, and The Chop Shop.
