Fortnite, one of the most played battle royale games, is now available on platforms like Android, iOS, Xbox, Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5.
It has been around since 2017 and many people are playing the game on the aforementioned platforms. Fortinite Season 8, Cubed, was released recently but it looks like players weren’t quite happy with it.
According to several reports, Fortnite players don’t quite like the XP system in the Battle Royal mode of Season 8 as they are not able to gain enough experience to improve the game.
There are several long threads regarding this issue on platforms like Reddit where players discuss how they struggle with XP in Battle Royale mode in Fortnite Season 8.
Additionally, there are no workarounds or fixes for this issue, as it is not exactly an issue that prevents gamers from fully playing the game.
Seriously this is the worst xp system we’ve had
However, affected Fortnite players may not have to dwell on this issue for too long as Fortnite support works to resolve it.
Support even said that the lack of XP progress in Fortnite Season 8 in Battle Royale mode was not up to their expectations. However, Fortnite support added that a lot of improvements are underway.
Updates will be made on this on September 28, which is not that far away. So, those who don’t really like how the XP system works this season can expect some good news.
While Fortnite support hasn’t delved into how they’ll improve the XP system in Battle Royale mode, it’s still good to see that work is already being done to improve the experience.
As a reminder, players were facing an issue with the Battle Pass 25 Tier Pack in Fortnite when Season 8 released. However, this issue was resolved later.
It is therefore safe to assume that future developments could address concerns of affected players regarding the XP system in Fortnite Season 8.
That said, we’ll continue to monitor this for further development and report back as new information emerges, so stay tuned.
