Epic Games will get players into the holiday spirit with Winterfest 2021. This event features new cosmetic skins, packs, challenges, and other fun additions that fans can enjoy in the battle royale.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 start date
Epic Games has yet to officially confirm the start date for Winterfest 2021, but the event normally begins in Fortnite a few days before Christmas. So we expect it to start around the same time this year.
The event started on December 18, 2019 and lasted until January 7, 2020. It will likely last around 14 days this year as well, and new challenges may become available every day.
We’ll keep checking for updates, and hopefully the developers will confirm the official start date for Winterfest 2021 soon. Once those, we’ll be sure to let you know.
Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Skins
The Winterfest 2021 event has already brought in a ton of cool holiday-themed skins that you can purchase from the Item Shop, along with two bundles of cash. So you can participate in the festival while wearing cool winter outfits.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 leak
While Epic Games has yet to reveal too much of what’s going on in Winterfest 2021, data miners have started to find new details. Notable Fortnite leaker Shiina has discovered new channels being added to Fortnite.
The channels disclosed include:
- Already open
- Come back every day to open a unique gift!
- Not a gift
- Save for the end!
- Open PRESENT
- Open presents
Additionally, the data miner also revealed the upcoming Winterfest background for the in-game menu. As you might expect, it’s holiday-themed with a red colored Christmas tree design.
“It will most likely be used in some sort of ‘Winterfest’ tab coming up,” Shiina tweeted. However, it should be borne in mind that these are just leaks at the moment, so take them with a grain of salt.
