Halo Infinite Season 2 starts now, with a new battle pass

The Halo Infinite Season 2 release date is finally here, which means it’s time to dig into the new Lone Wolves battle pass and new game modes. game, new events and new narrative and themed events to free play.

Season 2 includes two Lone Wolves story events, both of which last two weeks. The first is called Interference and runs from May 3-15. The second, Alpha Pack, runs from July 19 to August 1. During both events, you will be able to complete event challenges by playing the new Last Spartan Standing mode on Breaker, the new Big Team Battle map.

Outside of special events, however, there is another 100-tier premium battle pass. If you buy the premium pass, there are around 180 rewards to collect as you rank it up – but there are some free rewards along the way for players who choose not to buy. Season 2 will also feature a new Fracture event called Entrenched, which will provide multiple opportunities to complete additional event challenges and earn another set of cosmetic items.

Here is the trailer for season 2:

The new free-for-all Last Spartan Standing mode pits 12 Spartans against each other, each with five respawns. Players get a pre-determined loadout, but scoring points will allow you to reinforce it. However, like in a battle royale game, the playing space gets progressively smaller as the match progresses.

During the Interference and Alpha Pack limited-time events, Last Spartan Standing will take place on the new Breaker BTB map. Outside of these events, however, you’ll be able to play Last Spartan Standing in regular matchmaking and custom games as well.

It’s worth noting that if you own the premium Season 1 Battle Pass, you can freely switch between it and the Season 2 Battle Pass, depending on which one you want to work on. However, this only applies to premium passes – free passes expire at the end of their respective seasons.

The full patch notes can be found on the official Halo Waypoint site.
