New Battle Royale Map Launched

A week of hiatus has passed since the release of the Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 Battle Pass. However, the test server for Season 8 has already been released. Based on a few previews and valid video sources, we might get an idea of what the developers have in mind. Season 8 of Call of Duty Mobile certainly looks promising.

Plus, some of the changes are long-awaited requests that are gathering dust. Let’s see if you will recognize any of them.

Call Of Duty Mobile Season 8 Release Date

Over the past few months, each season’s Battle Pass release date has been more or less consistent. We would expect Season 8 to debut sometime in late September.

Since COD Mobile Season 7 began August 26-27, the tentative Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 release date is expected to be around the September 27.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Leaks

A new season always brings new maps, weapons, ranks for battle royale games. COD Mobile Season 8 will be no different. Leaks have started to surface online, revealing an exciting battle royale map. There is no more waiting, check them out!

COD Mobile Season 8 Weapons

One of the defining elements of CoD Mobile is its huge roster of weapons that only require the player to navigate their way. Acquiring legendary weapons certainly requires an investment * cough cough *. But, as long as you’re having fun, the consistent monthly update should be fine.

Season 7 saw the addition of the crossbow to the Pistol category and Hades (a bigger PP-Bizon) to the LMG class. This time we have a participant in the AR and shotgun category.

The M13 for the Assault Rifle series is somewhat reminiscent of a larger scale but lighter M4. It should have a damage count of 28 points with a relatively fast rate of fire. The M13 could level the playing field a bit by being a weapon that isn’t too meta. But, we’ll find a way to screw it up.

The R9-0, meanwhile, is a beefy boy of a shotgun. It is said to have an increased number of shells as well as a bunch of ammo types that could make it an effective killer. This means we have the choice between Tube Extensions or Slug Cartridges. It also boasts of a much higher damage count with a similar rate of fire to the BY-15.

COD Mobile Season 8 Operator Skill

Operator skills generally fall into one of two classes, assault or defense. Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 has decided to increase the bet and include a third set of support-based operator skills. Introducing yourself, TAK-5…

… Instantly heal your teammates, no matter where they are on the map. Additionally, a 50-point HP boost from the usual 100-point limit is also included, albeit temporary. While this doesn’t change the tide of battle in normal mode, you can expect an advantage in ranked matches.

New Scorestreak, Best Killstreaks

Given the rigid bombardment of the cluster strike, we now have the lightning strike. You can choose up to three locations on the map that will be attacked by a barrage of missiles. This scoring streak might as well be the union of predatory missile and cluster strike.

It has a cost requirement of 1050 points before you can use it in combat. Although mentioning it is somewhat unnecessary considering how many people are using the Persistence benefits.

For snipers who behave like snipers

“Iron Lungs” is the expected Red Perk slated to make an appearance in Call of Duty Mobile Season 8. It would likely increase the control one would have over the rifle when pre-aiming for longer periods of time. Previously, the Arctic .50 was the only rifle that could be modified over 100 points in the control department. However, this has come at the cost of a serious deterioration in mobility.

The Iron Lungs perk could offer better stability while maintaining a decent amount of ADS / normal movement speed.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Maps

Given the improved reception of the 2019 Scrapyard map, we may have a remake of the “Crash” map. The quality of the graphics is certainly taken a step further with much brighter environment lighting. Getting one of Call of Duty Mobile’s OG maps given a facelift is interesting to see.

New maps could also be included. A potential participant who goes by the name of “Hovec Sawmill” carried over from Modern Warfare could be included in season 8. We’ve already had Suldal Harbor; it’s only a matter of time before we get the other cards as well.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 New Ranking

The ranking system has received an addition to its list of player rankings, including the addition of the title of Grandmaster. The new rank is between Master and Legendary ranks. In addition, it includes players between 6001 and 8000 points. You may need to earn a surplus of 8001 points and more to be a part of the legendary club.

Changes in CoD Mobile Battle Royale

A new vehicle has been introduced in the Test Server version of Battle Royale. It looks like a modified street racing car, which could probably get a lot of attention. Soon we will have high speed car chases.

A new BR class has also been introduced. Taking a crazy guess, one might assume that this is some sort of jetpack device. Of course, naming her the “grasshopper” doesn’t seem to suggest anything else.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Player Interactions

Players can now interact with their weapons. Pressing a button on the emoticon wheel will perform the signature action “Firearms Inspection”. While not the best update, the playerbase has been asking for it for a long time.

So go ahead, check out the custom look that took you hours to finish grinding. And if you do manage to “borrow” a weapon with a Legendary skin, don’t limit yourself to the Kill animation this time around.

How to download the Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 version?

We are still a few days away from final construction. But, a new public test version is ready and can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices. Access to the beta will end on Monday, September 13. Registration is open to beta testers!

  • Download links
  • Download size: over 1 GB or so, requires 2 GB of space on the device

The beta will not have all of the features described above, but there are several more planned releases to come, expect all features to be tested in the future.
