Fortnite Season 3 is set to begin in just a few days and it really does feel like we’re starting to know a bit more about what to expect. That hasn’t been the case for a long time, as the Fortnite community has been silent on Season 3 for quite some time.
That being said, it’s nice to be in a situation where we know very little about the sequel, which is rare in the gaming industry as a whole. Fortnite Season 3 will have to live up to the standards set so far in Chapter 3, which is no easy task.
Here’s everything we know and want to see through Fortnite Season 3 when it arrives…
LATEST – The teasing continues
It looks like Epic is going back to an old hype strategy when it comes to Fortnite Season 3. Influencers and personalities of the game are receiving teasers that seem to come together to produce a big picture when all is said and done.
We’ll be keeping an eye on developments and hope to see the final teaser image soon!
Fortnite has officially confirmed the end of season event that will take us into Season 3!
Battle Pass Leaked!
It looks like the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass has leaked online! The whole thing is still mostly unknown, but some of the biggest surprises have come to light.
Update brings event leaks
We are finally starting to see files related to an end-of-season event in Fortnite. It looks like we’re going to kick off Season 3 in style with a big event that everyone can take part in.
A collider has also arrived on the map and seems to be counting down to the event in a very weird way. The leakers are keeping a tight-lipped about the event for now, leaving players incredibly excited for what’s to come.
Fortnite Season 3 Release Date
Fortnite Season 3 is set to begin on Saturday, June 4 at the earliest. We know that the Season 2 Battle Pass expires on Friday, June 3, which means the next day is the likely start date.
There is however every chance that there will be a delay at the start of Season 3 if an event takes place that takes the servers offline for story related reasons. Although there is a possibility of that, it would surely have been leaked or teased by now, so we’re pretty confident in the aforementioned release date.
Battle pass and theme
Spider-Man and Doctor Strange have been the two main characters in recent Battle Passes and let’s not forget that Venom also appeared at the end of Chapter 2.
While this string of Marvel characters is likely coincidental, we might like to see another hero or villain enter Fortnite history next season.
The Fortnite Season 3 theme can be summed up as the end of Season 2. If we get an event that ties the end of the Island War, then maybe we could really end up with any what kind of story to move forward.
It’s likely that this arc will continue into Season 3 and properly end further down the line. We would still like to see a big event take place, but the current story has invested us a lot and we are not ready to move on yet!
