Activision has revealed more information about the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard and war zone Season 2 Battle Pass, and it’s got plenty to get fans excited. Players will be more interested in new weapons, operators, and great developments that await Battle Royale gameplay.
Call of Duty: war zone players enjoyed the Battle Pass introduced in Season 1, but are excited for more content. Activision has announced that the Season 2 Battle Pass adds four new weapons to Avant-garde as well as new operators, skins and XP boosts. Fans can also expect gameplay changes due to new armored war machines and chemical warfare.
The Season 2 Battle Pass will contain a new Operator – Anna Drake. She arrives with her brand new weapon, the KG 40. Players can upgrade her to unlock two additional Operator skins, two quips, a new finisher, and more. The Season 2 announcement also includes new gameplay mechanics, such as the chemical weapon Nebula V. Nebula V munitions and bombs create new offensive tactics, while portable decontamination stations provide temporary refuge. However, it should be noted that the new Nebula ammunition has some Call of Duty: Warzone worried players.
Additional free rewards available in the Battle Pass include the Ball Turret Gunner Consecutive Killstreak, Mechanic Perk, and Deadly Sticky Bomb gear. The Ball Turret Gunner can be activated after achieving a 12-game winning streak and grants players 30 seconds of aerial destruction. Fans will also be pleased to hear that the Season 2 update brings Wonder Weapons back to Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies.
The new season of Call of Duty: Vanguard and war zone will also introduce new experiences and dynamics to the Battle Royale game. Armored Transport Trucks are unstoppable steel behemoths that will attack those in its immediate vicinity with its two machine gun turrets as it rolls around a looping path. It’s still unclear how powerful the Armored Transport Trucks will be, but they’ll definitely become hotspots for players trying to get hold of an untouched Nebula V Bomb.
The new map location, the Chemical Weapons Factory, demonstrates that poison gas will become an even bigger part of war zone playability. Players already have to deal with the poisonous gas ring around them, and with the addition of Nebula V chemical gas, many fans will be pleased to hear that the update includes a huge change for war zone gas mask.
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone is about to be exciting with all these changes coming, and the Battle Pass has plenty of new rewards waiting for players.
